Crimes Nearby: Probation in North Fork Embezzlement Case
Police reported the following arrests between Jan. 6 and 10.

Three Village
Daniel Fisk, 20, of Port Jefferson, was arrested Jan. 6 at about 4:30 p.m. and charged with third degree criminal mischief. He was on Chambers Street in Setauket when he allegedly struck a Honda with a baseball bat.

Leo Fallon, Jr., 41, of Nesconset, was arrested Jan. 8 at about 1:30 a.m. and charged with first offense DWI. He made a left turn from the Wal-Mart parking lot in South Setauket onto Route 347, allegedly screeching tires and nearly hitting the guardrail, attracting the attention of the police.
Port Jefferson
Ronald Cinquemani, 32, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Jan. 6 at about 4:30 p.m. and charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument. He was found on Joseph Court in Farmingville in the seat of a 2003 Toyota reportedly in possession of the instruments.
North Fork
After pleading in an embezzlement case Katherine Pope, who served as Shelter Island justice from 1998 to 2002, and her husband, Wayne, both got probation on Jan. 10, according to a report on The Suffolk Times.
On Nov. 15, Katherine Pope pleaded guilty to fourth-degree identity theft, a misdemeanor, and her husband, Wayne Pope, pleaded guilty to fourth degree grand larceny, a felony, for stealing more than a million dollars from an 89-year-old Water Mill woman suffering from dementia. Husband and wife will each serve a sentence of five years probation, and they are not required to pay back any money to the estate of Estabrook.

A fourth suspect allegedly involved in an abduction/robbery case from last fall has been apprehended and charged, Southold Town Police reported.
Anthony Infantolino, 18, was recently charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree assault in connection with an incident involving a Cutchogue man who was allegedly assaulted, imprisoned and robbed at the Mattituck Empire Gas Station early last September, police said.
Later that month, Conor Lingerfelt, 17, of Jamesport, and Philip Trentacoste, 18, of Aquebogue, were also both charged with third-degree assault, second-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, and 51-year-old Jameport resident Elizabeth Bucalo-Lingerfelt was charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree unlawful imprisonment.
