Moe's Southwest Grill to Take Over Old Taco Bell in Rocky Point
Moe's will replace long-gone Taco Bell in Rocky Point.
The long-empty Rocky Point Taco Bell building will soon be serving tacos once again.
Moe's Southwest Grill will continue its expansion into Suffolk County in the former Taco Bell building, as plans have been approved to open the restaurant by the Brookhaven Town Planning Board.
The building is located on the eastern side of the Kohl's Shopping Center adjacent to Rocky Point-Yaphank road. Property just South of the building has also recently been cleared, but there are no plans for that area as of this writing.
A modification of the signage from the original plans submitted was approved at Monday's planning board meeting. Click through the photos and read the entire plan submitted above.

Thank goodness. That building was an eye sore. Plus, there aren't any other choices for fast-food mexican in the area. Good for Rocky Point!
