Hope they catch this nut. I need to give the Town of Brookhaven Highway Department and Sarah Anker a thank you. Friendship drive in Rocky point was very hard to drive on. The road had holes in it the size of trucks. It is in dire need of a total paving project.The men of the Highway Dept were out there in full force today. it certainly looked alot better. I don't know if it was being paved today or just a quick repair, nonetheless it is a start. Thank you highway department. Keep up the great work. One road at a time.

Wife and I live in Sound beach off of Beacon drive. As the area is a melting pot, some take care of there property and some, well..... looks like a complete dump!! It's actually really funny. As for the shooter, he resides in the area. If he entered a vehicle, the policee have access to look at vehicles leaving the area at that time. So that would pan out in time. My take is that this masked idiot lives right around the block. He rents a couch out in one of those dumps, got high, placed a mask on and wanted to turn his night into a fun one. My bet is that they will catch him, and then all the white trash in the area can sit on there lawn chairs in the front yard and talk about it all summer long. There was also a gun shot last night 2-23-12 at around 10:00 pm. My house off beacon is now interesting from the normal bums that walk walk around or the drug dealing, or trash just left out all over the place. In the big scheme of things, who cares it's only Sound beach.

Yep - more helicopters, I heard what sounded like a shot at 9:06 last night, we also heard the shot last Thursday that went unreported at around 10:00 pm (I am off Beacon). We're new here (a few months). This is pretty creepy for sure. When we moved in we thought "what a nice quiet" area. Now it's more like "pass me the Mossberg honey".

Helicopters go over the "good neighborhoods" too.

Just to keep you all updated, there is still NOTHING NEW on this case other than what is in the report above. Police are still investigating, and we will hear helicopters from time to time as police actively patrol the area.

As SOON as I hear anything new on the case I will relay it to you all.

We live off beacon. My wife and I are concerned. This guy lives in the area. The police don't put the chopper up for nothing, especially in the same area that was dealing with an incident last week. I called the 7th and was informed that they were looking for a person of
Interest. I have heard shots fired recently. This will surface soon.

Drive around beacon, echo, lower rocky point road on a Friday and saturday night after midnight and see how many are just hanging out walking around, smoking weed in a car etc.

I have not been informed by any politician about this. I figured as well that a statement would have been issued. Yet you are deflecting from what you said. I am doing something.
