Rocky Point Man Charged in 7-Eleven Robbery

A Rocky Point man was arrested early Wednesday morning after Suffolk County Police said a patrolling officer drove by and noticed him robbing a 7-Eleven in Coram. Christopher Degennarro, 26, was armed with a hammer as he ordered a cashier to the ground and approached the register before being thwarted by the Police.
