Dennis Kramer Named Director of Safety and Security at Mather Hospital

Dennis Kramer has been named Director of Safety and Security at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital. In his new role, Kramer will oversee all aspects of safety and security at the hospital, including emergency management.

Kramer, who has served as Mather Hospital’s Assistant Director of Safety and Security since March 2010, formerly was part of the security team at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson. Prior to that Kramer was a firefighter with the New York City Fire Department.

Kramer received extensive training in Homeland Security from FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL, and worked for the Center as an instructor from 2008 to 2010.
