#96: Spend The Day At Heritage Park In Mt. Sinai

No matter the season you're bound to have a great day at the park

While technically not in the Miller Place-Rocky Point area, Heritage Park, commonly referred to as "The Wedge," lies just west of the Miller Place border in Mt. Sinai off Route 25A and is the perfect stop for a family outing, no matter the season.

The 18.2 acre park, also adjacent to the Heritage Center which is available for rent for parties and celebrations, has two large playground sets and swings, a soccer field, two backstops for baseball or softball, a number of benches for rest or reading as well as some steep hills for sledding this time of year.

A walking path also surrounds the entire park, perfect for running, jogging or just a nice walk with the family. Whether you want to go sledding in the winter, jogging in the spring or play some baseball in the summer, Heritage Park will provide you with hours of outdoor entertainment you won't want to miss.
