Starting Nov.19 until Dec. 4, Legis. Sarah Anker is partnering with Presiding Officer William Lindsay of the Suffolk County Legislature to collect coats for Every Child’s Dream.
In addition to new or gently used coats and jackets, the organization has also requested warm clothing, blankets and toys.
“In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, we must all remember our community residents who need our help,” Anker said.
More than 600 coats were collected at her office for the organization last year.
All donations can be dropped off at the office located at 620 Rt. 25A, Suite B, in Mount Sinai.
