Rocky Point mother Jayne Burke was shockingly diagnosed with brain cancer in December, and her friends have come to her support by creating an online fundraiser to help keep the family afloat during these tough times.
Along with the recent diagnosis of the aggresive brain cancer, it was also found that Burke has another tumor on her spinal cord. According to friends, she has been unable to walk and due to in-patient rehab and radiation treatments, she has been unable to work.
Friends Kristen and Holly, who started the fundraiser on crowdsourcing website gofundme.com, ask for any monetary donations the community can spare in order to help in this process, and to at least keep Jayne and her family in their thoughts if a donation is not possible at this time.
