Event Spotlight: Nutrition Lecture in Mt. Sinai

Seniors can enjoy a free 60-minute lecture on health and nutrition.

If you ever wondered if an apple a day can really keep the doctor away then this free lecture is for you.

On Wednesday at 10:45 a.m., Stephanie Giraulo, RD, CDN, MBA, director of Nutritional Services at St. Charles Hospital and Stephanie Schiff will be talking about nutrition. Seniors 60-years-old and over can enjoy this 60-minute lecture at the Rose Caracappa Senior Center at 39 Route 25A in Mount Sinai. Lecture ends at noon. Call (631) 476-6449 to reserve a seat.

It's a shame that this educational lecture is limited to those 60 years and older, as it should be open to the entire community.
