The October Oceanfest will take place Oct. 13 and 27 from 2-4 p.m. with a day of fun and educational activities at the Mount Sinai Marine Stewardship Center down by Cedar Beach.
The day will start with Sea Stories followed by an opportunity for the kids to meet and greet with some of the most popular nature center residents. Afterwards, play a game of beach tag and then create your own masterpiece with the ancient art of Gyotaku; Japanese fish printing - just bring a plain white t-shirt or pillow case.
