The program will provide parents with the necessary tools to find their children should they ever go missing. Officers from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office will be on hand to photograph and fingerprint children, which will then be submitted to the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services and could be used
for an “Amber Alert.”
Parents will also be issued identification cards which contain important information to assist in the search for a missing child. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
