Four Earn Eagle Award at Ceremony in Mt. Sinai

Miller Place Boy Scouts were awarded their Eagle Awards at a recent ceremony.

Four Miller Place Boy Scouts received their Eagle Awards on Nov. 26 at the Moose Lodge in Mt. Sinai.

Anthony Angeloro, Paul Castelli, Justin Willig and Brendan O'Connell were honored at a ceremony attended by family, friends and dignitaries. Each boy had a scout leader speak on their behalf, as well as a representative of the organization from which their Eagle Project benefited.

Angeloro that hangs over the gymnasium. and created a 14 by 16 foot picnic area at the First Baptist Church in Patchogue.

Willig's project was to at in Rocky Point and O'Connell built book shelves and collected books for the Woodward Children's Center in Freeport. O'Connell also spoke at Monday's Miller Place Civic Meeting about his project.
