Historical Photo: The Miller's Station in Early 1900s

We asked your best guess at where this photo was taken.

Last week we asked people to identify this photo taken in Miller Place sometime in the early 1900s.

In the comments people ventured a guess.

Jim said it was a train station.

"[it] was on Sylvan Ave," he wrote. "South of Echo Ave."

MP Majority agreed with him.

"Was that a commercial or personal train route?" he asked.

Identified by the Mt. Sinai-Miller Place Historical Society as "The Miller's Station" this building once sat north of Route 25A in Miller Place. The photographer is unknown.
