June 3: Koga, Music, Comedy
Start off with Koga, then there's a choice of music; close with comedy
1. The Heritage Park Center (locally known as "The Wedge") on 25A in Mt. Sinai hosts a continuing Friday Koga class--that's kickboxing and yoga--that will definitely get you started mornings at 10 a.m.
2. The North Shore Youth Council holds Band Nights on Fridays, 6:30 p.m. at its headquarters at the Joseph A Edgar School in Rocky Point. Come and hear some young talent.
3. The North Shore Public Library hosts a special musical program with pianist Edward Hupton playing the music of pre-WWI Ragtime and the Harlem Stride sounds of the '20s and '30s at 7 p.m.
Find out what's happening in Miller Place-Rocky Pointwith free, real-time updates from Patch.
4. Every first Friday of the month it's 80s Night at Napper Tandy's Irish Pub, tonight with White Wedding and DJ Pac-Man Pookie, 10 p.m.
5. Friday Night Face Off (the comedic kind) at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson, at 11 p.m. Those who dare do improv.
