Landscaping of Avenue of America at Heritage Park Ongoing

Boulder bench installed in Girl Scouts' Patriotic Triangle, part of the Avenue of America in the park.

The Avenue of America in Heritage Park continues to develop, with the latest addition being a large boulder bench as a part of the Patriotic Triangle opposite the Court of America.

Kelly Brothers Landscaping recently donated the boulder bench and "planted" it as Girl Scout Troop 1090 watched the first addition to their Patriotic Triangle.

On May 6, the troop will plant blue catnip, white day lilies and red roses in the triangle as part of the overall landscape design of the Avenue of America. Troop 1090's project also celebrates the Centennial year of the Girl Scouts of America.
