PHOTO: Miller Place Student Earns Air Patrol Honors
Thor Hawrey named Long Island Cadet NCO of the Year.
Miller Place student Thor Hawry was awarded the Long Island Cadet NCO of the Year Saturday at the NY Civil Air Patrol Military Ball.
Hawrey will now be competing for New York State Cadet NCO of the Year. He also earned the Billy Mitchell Award, which makes him a commissioned officer at 2nd Lieutenant.
