PHOTO: Students Provide Bear-y Kind Gifts
Donated stuffed animals will go to patients at Mather Hospital.
Students from Laddie A. Decker Sound Beach School in Miller Place gave the gift of happiness to Mather Hospital patients recently.
The students gathered stuffed animals and donated them to Mather's HUGS program.
HUGS distributes stuffed animals to help comfort children and elderly patients awaiting treatment at the Hospital’s Emergency Room, in its Ambulatory and Inpatient Surgical Pavilion, in the laboratory and other areas.
