Rocky Point Makes Changes To Morning Drop Off Schedule

Middle School and High School parents and students will have to abide by a new set of rules when arriving at school.

In a flyer given out to parents, the Rocky Point School District announced some changes being made to its drop off procedures to ensure a smoother transition in the morning. The flyer was sent out towards the end of December, beginning of January. Incase you missed it; here are the major drop off changes you might want to know before driving your child to school.

High School

Two security guards will now direct the morning traffic in front of the high school. Parents should follow the direction of the security guards pulling their vehicles up to the newly- posted “Student Drop Off” point. Students will now enter the high school using the doors just south of the main entrance. Please have your child/children ready to exit the vehicle when instructed by the security guards.
