Scenescape: Storm Brings River to Sound Beach
Heavy rain led to flooding and fallen branches around the area.
Heavy rains hit the area hard Tuesday evening, causing flooded roads and other damage to the area.
On Lower Rocky Point Road in Sound Beach, floods were so heavy they resembled a fast-moving river and branches were strewn about the road.
The quick storm also damaged the equipment of Dr. K's Motown Revue, cancelling the night's Summer Concert Series performance. The makeup date is set for Aug. 30.
