Tesla Conference Held to Help Preserve Wardenclyffe

Historians and experts shared their knowledge at the conference in Riverhead.

The Tesla Conference 2011 took place Nov. 5 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Riverhead and featured various historical speakers and field experts as well as a reception and other events.

The conference was held to celebrate and teach about the life and work of scientist Nikola Tesla and to help with the preservation of Wardenclyffe, his old laboratory in Shoreham, and to help with the possible development of a regional science and technology center at the site.

Kevin Wood of SWRWeekly.com recently shared video from the event, which can be viewed here.
