The Week Ahead: Town Board Meets, Youth Council Hosts Teen Rec
What's happening this week in the area.
1. Stay cool at the beach this week. Cedar Beach is open for the season. Daily parking costs $5, seasonal pass $10 for Brookhaven Town residents.
2. The North Shore Youth Council Summer Buddies has an extended "teen rec." everyday during the week from 12:30 - 4 p.m.
3. The Suffolk County Department of Health will be running free smoking cessation classes at Dowling College on the Brookhaven Campus. The program runs for six consecutive weeks beginning July 16th, 2013 and ending August 30th, 2013.

4. The Brookhaven town board will meet on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
5. Attend the town's planning board meeting Monday at Town Hall at 4 p.m.
