Why Go: The volleyball team's annual Dig Pink fundraiser to benefit breast cancer. Food, volleyball, and raffle prizes headline an event for a good cause. Proceeds benefit the Side Out Foundation for Breast Cancer Research.

Why Go: Get a head start on Halloween when the holiday mixes with dance at Arthur Murray's studio. Visitors can learn to dance and enjoy a performance by the staff. Cocktails and refreshments will be served at this free event. Bring your best costume to win the contest.

Why Go: The day starts off at 10 a.m. with the girls soccer team taking on East Hampton. Then at 2 p.m. football team takes the field against Bellport for the 2011 homecoming. Expect all the paegentry with the homecoming king and queen along with the parade.
