Weekend Planner: Outdoor Movie, Benefit for Stefi and Cruise Night

Take the family to watch an outdoor movie and attend a benefit for Stefi, a local girl battling brain cancer.

When/Where: Friday, 8:15 p.m. at Heritage Park, 633 Mount Sinai Coram Rd.

Why Go: Catch Happy Feet 2 for free shown on the baseball field at the park. Bring a blanket or chair to sit on and enjoy. Donations are always welcomed and the concession stand will be open for food and beverage purchases.

When/Where: Saturday, 5:00 pm at the Aliano Shopping Center, 74 Route 25a.

Why Go: Come support little Stefi Felber, a 4-year-old little girl who is battling brain cancer. Diagnosed at 8 months of age she spent a good portion of her life at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After going into remission for 10 months, her tumor has reappeared and she will need more therapy and treatments. The benefit in her name will include a chinese auction. Direct donations will be accepted as well.
