Why Go: Spring is here and that means it's time for baseball. Local youth open their little league season Saturday morning with festivities beginning at 9 a.m. Former Major Leaguer and Smithtown native Frank Catalanotto will be on hand to talk to the young athletes as well.
Miller Place Family Fundraiser
When/Where: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Miller Place .

Why Go: Little Leaders Learning Center of Mount Sinai is hosting a fundraiser in conjunction with some of the staff members of the Miller Place School District to help families in the community. There will be baskets to raffle off and Little Leaders Learning will be raffling off free camp weeks, one on one tutoring sessions and a month of preschool. Raffles will be $1 and all of the proceeds will be donated to the families that are in need of help.
