What Do You Want to See Here? [Empty in Miller Place-Rocky Point]

What would you like to see on the former Ging's Nursery property?

It's pumpkin season, but you won't be able to find any at Ging's Nursery. The nursery's been closed down and vacant for some time as grass dies and weeds and bushes are wildly overgrown.

There has been some conversation about what should replace a the former Ging's. An online petition circulated to stop the property from turning into a Walgreen's and a has already been installed. Are you in favor of having a Walgreen's? Should the property be handled by a neighborhood mom and pop establishment?

Ging's is coming back! That's right, just like the old days, all the best in landscaping supplies and plants. Seasonal merchandise, perrenials, annuals, everything! The same old style customer service and attention to detail as always. Same owners too. Look for them this Christmas for the best in trees and Holiday favorites. Everything old is new again!

Rubin...are they returning in Nov/Dec and is it permanent or solely for the holiday season? Shoot me an email if you can - rich.arleo@patch.com

You need expansion their for these neighborhoods. Big stores will increase the value of property and will add more jobs. Walgreen's is a great idea.
