The Miller Place-Mt. Sinai Historical Society is accepting donations for personalized bricks on a walkway recently completed as it works toward raising funds for renovating one of its historic structures.
For $100, donors get three lines of 21 characters each, which will run on the walkway at the nonprofit's property on North Country Road.
Proceeds will directly benefit restoration of the William Miller Home, which was originally built in 1720 and acquired by the historical society in 1979. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and consists of two structures, the second of which was built in the late 1810s.
