YouTube: Kara2Mijael Trip to Bolivia a Success
Miller Place's Kara Patrovic uploads video of her trip to Bolivia.
Early this year, Miller Place student Kara Patrovic set out to visit a young boy in Bolivia she has been sponsoring for years.
After and was able to make the trek and visit young Mijael.
Patrovic raised over $6,000 in order to meet the child she sponsored through Childfund, and distributed toys more than 50 children in the community. Patrovic said she has been very busy since returning him, but recently found some time to upload a video to YouTube with highlights from her trip.
