Another Local Band Needs Votes in Radio Station Contest

Como Brothers Band from Mt. Sinai vying to play at Great South Bay Music Festival.

Along with Miller Place band 'The Serotones', Mt. Sinai's own Como Brothers Band is in the running for a chance to play at the Great South Bay Music Festival and need your help.

The Como Brothers, Matt and AndrewComo, are singer-songwriters that whose music is influenced from rock and blues. Their music been placed on the soundtrack of E! Entertainment’s Keeping up with the Kardashians, MTV’s The Real World St. Thomas, The Real World Portland, and Oxygen Channel’s Best Ink.

They played at Warped Tour at Nassau Coliseum last year and will be opening for The Wallflowers on June 20 in Stamford Connecticut’s Alive@Five.

The contest, hosted by BOBBIEQUE Restaurant and WEHM Radio, consists of three rounds; the first was a recorded submission that was judged by the people at EHM, and the second is online voting available to the public. 

To vote, follow this link, scroll to the bottom and enter your information. The five bands who get the most votes will move to the Live Performance round at BOBBIEQUE in Patchogue, and the winner of the competition will get a spot at the Great South Bay Music Festival on July 20.
