A rumored film by Universal entitled "Tesla, Ruler of the World" may star Christian Bale as the famed inventor Nikola Tesla, whose laboratory Wardenclyffe sits in Shoreham, according to a report on the W!ld Rooster blog.
The film allegedly boasts Serbian screenwriter Vladimir Rajčić and two-times Oscar-winning Croatian producer Branko Lustig (Schindler’s List and Gladiator), and would sure to be a hit at the box office with Bale to play Tesla and Nicolas Cage possibly taking on the role of his rival, Thomas Edison.
The film is still in the early stages of pre-production and none of the roles, or even a director, are set just yet.
This would be the second Tesla film upcoming, , has begun production and is set to film certain scenes on the Wardenclyffe property in Shoreham.
