Event Spotlight: Rocky Point Farmers Market October Fest

The Rocky Point Farmers and Artisans Market October Fest will take place Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Town’s Old Depot Park located at Broadway and Prince Road in Rocky Point.

The first ever Octoberfest will feature a variety of crafts for sale, locally made products, local fruits and vegetables, and more. There will be a pig roast by Naturally Grass Fed and entertainment by the Homegrown String Band performing traditional and origina American roots music. Councilwoman Jane Bonner will be attending the event.

“I look forward to seeing the community come out for the crafts, food, music and fun,” Bonner said. “It’s great that the Rocky Point Farmers Market has become such a popular destination for residents throughout Brookhaven and so many of the vendors are really making a name for themselves. This is a family event that I urge everyone to attend.”
