Miller Place Resident Living the Dream, Touring with Billy Joel

Mike DelGuidice, Miller Place resident, has made a name for himself in a Billy Joel tribute band called, Big Shot. DelGuidice has been in the band for years playing the piano and lead vocals. 

Recently, DelGuidice got the call of a lifetime when Billy Joel asked him to come on tour and perform with him. On DelGuidice website, he said he could not be more luckily. "Feeling very blessed. Been asked by Billy Joel to join his band for the upcoming UK tour, playing acoustic guitar and singing behind my idol," said DelGuidice. "Dreams come true…Billy is without a doubt the most down to earth man to know. I couldn't be more grateful. Somebody pinch me."

LocalNews.com caught up with DelGuidice the day before he left for the tour and even in the interview DelGuidice said he still can't believe what's happening.
