After a successful run on season 12 of Dancing With the Stars, making it to the final four, Miller Place's Ralph Macchio was eliminated Tuesday night after what many considered to be his worst performance.
Macchio made it nine weeks, just one week away from making it to the finals. The former Karate Kid was dubbed the "Comeback Kid" as he survived some disappointing performances and an injury, a ruptured cyst in the back of his knee according to the star's twitter, to make it this far. His run ended Tuesday as the voters gave Macchio and his dance partner Karina Smirnoff the boot.
Macchio tweeted after the show: "Thk u all for your amazing support on DWTS!! I no u are upset w/how it came down. I'm with ya. But lets remember all of the great moments!!"
