Scholarships available to Sound Beach students

For Sound Beach high school seniors that want some help with their college expenses.

For the fourth year the Sound Beach Civic Association will be awarding $1000 scholarships to two Sound Beach high school seniors; one in the Miller Place School District and one in the Rocky Point District.

The deadline is April 30. An application is available at www.soundbeachcivics.org. The scholarships are funded primarily by a food fair/auction that will be held on May 20 at the Sound Beach Firehouse.The food and auction prizes are donated by local merchants and individuals.

If anyone wants to donate a prize please leave a message on the Civic website and we will get in touch with you. If you'd like to make a monetary donation please send it to: Sound Beach Civic Association, PO Box 295, Sound Beach, NY 11789.
