Sound Beach Civic Association Scholarship Fund Food Fair

The Sound Beach Civic Association Scholarship Fund Food Fair and Auction is only days away. We urge everyone in the area to attend--This is what has allowed us to award two $1000 scholarships for the past three years. The event will be held on May 20, 2 to 6 PM, at the Sound Beach Firehouse.

Area businesses and individuals have again stepped up and donated a lot of great prizes:

• Corelle 4-pc. dinnerware, service for 12
• Four summer piano lessons
• $50 Visa card
• Lotto tree
• Car detailing
• Mary Kaye basket
• Artwork
• Wine/gift baskets
• Sports memorabilia
• And Lots More!

Again local restaurants will be donating over a dozen of their signature dishes:

• Mussels
• Steak tidbits
• Antipasto platter
• A variety of pasta dishes
• Meatballs
• Baked clams
• Sweet and sour chicken
• General Tsao's chicken

Desserts are a variety of home-made cookies

And music will be provided by high school students from both Miller Place and Rocky Point high schools.
