DON'T MISS IT: Long Island Restaurant Week Runs Through Sunday
Long Island Restaurant Week offers local deals.
Seven local restaurants have hopped on board the Long Island Restaurant Week train, offering special prix fixe menus for $27.95 through Sunday. Each participating restaurant will serve a three-course prix all night during Restaurant Week, except Saturday, when the deal is only available before 7 p.m.
Restaurant Week originated on the East End, initiated by WordHampton, the public relations firm also behind Hamptons Restaurant Week, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2012.
Seven area eateries will be taking part in the 2013 Restaurant Week. Here is the list:

- Sea Basin Restaurant, Rocky Point
- Spiro's Restaurant, Rocky Point
- Amici Restaurant, Mt. Sinai
- Alexandros Restaurant, Mt. Sinai
- Oceans 5 Seafood, Shoreham
- Danford's, Port Jefferson
- Fifth Season, Port Jefferson
- Graceful Rose, Port Jefferson
- La Parrilla, Port Jefferson
- Pace's Steakhouse, Port Jefferson
- Pasta Pasta, Port Jefferson
- Ruvo, Port Jefferson
- Schafer's, Port Jefferson
- Tequila Jack's, Port Jefferson
- Carnival, Port Jefferson Station
