Music & Arts Store Grand Opening Celebration This Saturday

Former Maximum Music location reopens as Music & Arts store this weekend.

This Saturday, the largest band and orchestra instrument retailer and lesson provider in the country, Music & Arts, will have a grand opening celebration. To help kick things off, the owners have asked local residents and school districts to participate.

Attendees can expect to see live performances throughout the day by The Como Brothers Band, Ward Melville High School Marching Band and Jazz Band, and the Flang Band.

In an press release, Music & Arts said it will be more than just a store with musical instruments. "The new location features a wide selection of musical instruments, a large variety of sheet music and songbooks as well as five new lesson studios," said Music & Arts. "A highlight of the store is its new humidified guitar room, which is the ideal environment for storing and testing string instruments."

Anyone who shows up to the grand opening will be given exclusive access to one-day deals including up to 80% off guitars and drum sets, and 50% off of select band equipment.

The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 9 Myrtle Street in Mount Sinai, formerly known as Maximum Music.
