Red Mango Owner Hoping to Open Within 2 Weeks

After starting work on the Miller Place location about two months ago, Red Mango franchisee Tommy Regoukos is hoping to have the frozen yogurt joint open within the next two weeks.

Regoukos said he needs a couple of final inspections completed and to train staff before opening doors in the space that once held Ladies Workout Express.

"We're trying not to lose our momentum," he said, adding that he's hoping to catch as much of the summer crowd as he can for customers looking for a cool, sweet treat.

In addition, Regoukos is simultaneously working on the European Wax Center two doors down, though said that efforts are primarily being put into opening the Red Mango – though the wax center is not far behind, perhaps a couple of weeks.

Regoukos, a Dix Hills resident, franchises over 20 different shops, he said, running the gamut from Muscle Maker Grill to Orange Theory Fitness to tanning salons and more. He's currently on opening eight this summer.
