Where to Find Pumpkins in Miller Place [PHOTOS]

This year, locals don't have to travel far to enjoy pumpkin season.

Every year when the weather cools and the leaves turn, locals may flock to either the many farms on the east end or west in the Stony Brook area.

This year, however, there is an opportunity to stay local and have some fun at the farms as well with three spots on Route 25A in Miller Place to grab your pumpkins, drink some cider and enjoy the weather.

Ging's Nursery

Closed this time last year, Ging's reopened in March and is overflowing with pumpkins for the season. The nursery also now features Davis Peach Farm with freestone peaches, nectarines, dozens of fresh apples and vegetables, Apple Cider and Pear Juice, a complete line of jams, jellies, preserves, and Fruit Salsas and lastly, fresh baked fruite pies.

Lena's Country Gardens at DeLea Sod Farms Inc

Located in the front of DeLea Sod Farms in Miller Place, Lena's Country Gardens is stocked with pumpkins, locally grown mums, corn stalks and other goodies for the season.

R N Farms Inc.

With pumpkins, mums, scarecrows and an "Enter If You Dare" sign, this spooky setting on the corner of Route 25A and Radio Avenue is the perfect spot to get your Halloween fix.
