Women's Workout Spots Close Down [Empty in Miller Place-Rocky Point]

At the start of 2011, both Curves and Ladies Workout Express were open for business.

Early in the year, the closed down and became the latest casualty of nation-wide closings from Curves International.

Over the summer, , located in the Stop & Shop Center, quickly shut its doors. A sign on the door reads "this club is closed" and includes contact numbers. 

With both women's workout spots closing, it begs the question, were there too many workout options in the area? With , the booming Zumba craze that is now offered at almost all fitness clubs in the area, plus , the interest just may not be great enough for another gym specifically designed for women.
