While it looked like Walgreens was aiming for a mid-July opening previously, as early August lags on, a company rep said that fall is now the goal, though no more concrete details were offered.

The pharmacy in Miller Place – within a half-mile of both a CVS and Rite Aid – gained approval from the town planning board in December of 2011, and work has continued this week on the exterior of the building, with contractors placing lights outside on Friday as work continues inside as well.

Along with the 14,820 square foot Walgreens, which includes a drive-thru, a 9,300 square foot retail building and another 3,500 square foot spot are up for lease.

Why no coverage of the Skydive Long Island horrific accident when a patron had to be medivac to a hospital on Sunday August 4th, 2013? Based on what I saw, his chute opened, but he came down too fast and crashed to the ground.
