Too Cold For School?? Give Me A BreaK!

I want to know how the decision was made last night to delay school for 2 hours this morning when the temperatures were the same at both times and there was no ice on the roads.

I wonder how many residents were allowed to delay going to work this morning 2 hours due to cold weather. I also wonder how many working parents were forced to change plans due to this ridiculous decision? I grew up here in the late 70's and guess what? They rarely closed the schools if ever for it being cold. And yes those are some of the worst winters here ever!

Since we give losers trophies in every sport now I shouldn't be surprised that our School Districts are teaching our children that it is OK to stay home if it's too cold!

I hope we get an explanation from our BOE's regarding this. Give Me a Break!!!
