The Week Ahead: Budget Adoption, S.A.T Classes & More

1. The Shoreham-Wading River school board will adopt its budget for the 2013-'14 school year Tuesday. The meeting will take place at 8 p.m. at the high school library.

2. April S.A.T. classes, taught by award-winning local educators Rick Rivera and Brian Sztabnik, begin Monday at The Wedge in Mt. Sinai. Classes cost $400 for all nine sessions. Call 631-384-9071 or email northsho­reSAT@­gmail.­com for more information.

3. Take a mid-week break at wing night Wednedsay at Napper Tandy's in Miller Place. Get all the wings you can eat for $13 from 8-10 p.m.

4. Port Jefferson Volunteer Ambulance is hosting the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers course. This course provides students with the knowledge on how to perform CPR on adults, children and infants and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. Register at http://­www.­pjvac.­org.

5. The Rotary Club of Rocky Point meets Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. at Sea Basin Restaurant in Rocky Point.
