Wednesday Outage Update: Restorations Begin but Thousands Still Affected
LIPA has begun restorations and some areas now have power.
After a dark Tuesday for many in the area, some have had their power restored but not many as thousands remain without power in the area Wednesday. There have been no reported restorations in Miller Place and LIPA has accounted for additional outages in Sound Beach and Rocky Point Wednesday. Here's an updated look at outages in the area.
