Week in Review: Driver Overturns Dump Truck in Miller Place

A truck overturned Monday morning in Miller Place, and the Miller Place Fire Department had to use the jaws of life to extricate the driver, who was trapped underneath the steering wheel.

The Miller Place School District officially announced the completion of contract negotiations with the teachers union; four-year agreement that will save the community nearly $2 million, according to a release.
