Inc. “Sprint for the Spine 5k”. This event on May 11th, 2014 at Shoreham
Beach in Shoreham, New York is an event to mark on your calendar and attend.
We will have prizes for the overall top three finishers and a raffle
with various items from local businesses. So register and come down for
the 9:00am start and help this great cause. Thanks!

Backed Together Inc. is a fairly young nonprofit, but the dedication
and passion of this organization is unmatched. While we continue to
raise awareness of spinal injuries and funding for spinal research, we
strive to unite patients and supporters to make dreams come true. Spinal
injuries and spinal conditions do more to a person than just physical
pain and debilitations, but their lives are changed drastically. What we
are fighting to have recognized as well is the fact that these injuries
and conditions are invisible. There is no blood, no bones protruding
from the body, just severe pain and in some cases paralysis. All Backed
Together Inc. was formed by a sufferer, who saw inspiration from his own
pain and struggles and formed this dream. The firsthand experience
drives this founder daily to bring forth new technology, new medicine,
new research, regenerative medicine, and less invasive surgeries. We all
know what the spine is, but what many do not know is how serious it is
to come together, unite and continue to help aid research, help others
become educated, and make the world a better place.
