Legislator Anker Announces Concert at Heritage Park in Mount Sinai
Mount Sinai, NY – July 2013 - Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker and the Rocky Point VFW Post 6249 will be sponsoring a summer concert at the North Shore Heritage Park in Mount Sinai on July 31st. The concert will feature musicians from the local community, and include performances by the School of Rock and the Organization of Open Mic Performing Artists (OOMPA).The show will begin 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for the Island Harvest food pantry. There will be no formal seating at this outdoor concert, so remember to bring your favorite outdoor chair or blanket!
