Relay for Life

Our Reason to Relay

We are making a difference by teaming up to participate in the American Cancer Societys Relay For Life.

At the event, our team will  take turns walking around the track to raise money and awareness to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays.

Jesse is a beautiful 5 year old boy from Miller Place who was diagnosed with Leukemia on March 1st, 2011. Jesse has been fighting ever since. He undergoes chemotherapy on a daily basis, in and out of the hospital with monthly blood and platelet transfusions, bone marrow biopsies and another 3 years of treatment ahead of him. This boy has touched my heart and the hearts of many others in so many ways. I want to do anything I can to help cancer patients who are battling this disease, to remember those that have been lost like my grandfather, and to congratulate those who have survived. Please support Team Jesse in the Relay For Life this May 19th, 2012 at Longwood High School in Middle Island, NY.

Saving lives from cancer starts one team, one participant, and one dollar at a time. Our team is doing our part to make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone's life.

The impact we can make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone! We are also in need of can goods to use for our Luminaria ceremony. After our event they will be donated to Long Island Cares food bank. 1 can helps 2 causes!
