The mens' basketball team at Stony Brook University took a break from practice to come mingle with some of the youngest Seawolves fans in the pediatric emergency department, and pediatric acute care unit. With presents in hand, the players shot some hoops with these little patients, took photos and had some fun with the kids in the playroom.

Taylor Havilk,11, of Holbrook, among other children in the pediatric emergency department and pediatric acute care unit, received presents, got to shoot hoops and take photos with the team on Dec. 9. According to the children's hospital, Havilk was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis last year.

Families with a child currently admitted or who have been discharged from the hospital also received tickets to each of the team's basketball home games from coach Steve Pikiell
