I don't fall into the "back to school shopping" trap. I buy clothes as the kids need them (which is all the time I think). But I did need to get them some new sneakers. I went to the outlets in Riverhead. I'm ALWAYS disappointed there. Never the deals I expect. So I went to Marshalls in Miller place and was able to buy 3 pair of really great sneakers for all 3 kids under 70 bucks. 15 for my daughter, and both boys wound up with really nice Nike sneakers for 25/each. The outlets had converse for 50 bucks a piece. You can see why Marshalls is a better deal (and no long drive)

I also don't fall into that "back to school shopping" gimick. I don't even buy my son clothes for the Fall school year until he needs them -- otherwise he grows out of them by December. I am also always disappointed at the outlet -- either by price or selection, so I try to go to Kohl's (when they have a sale).
