Yahoo Settles Patent Infringement Lawsuit Against Facebook

Yahoo and Facebook enter into "advertising partnership" in settlement of their patent infringement lawsuit.

In March 2012 Yahoo filed a lawsuit against Facebook alleging infringement of 10 of its patents related to advertising, privacy, customization, messaging and social networking. Facebook counterclaimed alleging patent infringements by Yahoo.

All claims have been settled with no money transferring hands.
